The White Squirrel is nice during the golf season but better for casual dining in the off season. The slower pace and family restaurant feel make for a pleasant experience. Robin is an experienced hostess that serves with warmth and care. The food is fresh and the portions are large. The kids chicken fingers impressed and the fresh cut french fries were fantastic!

It was well organized, very nice and welcoming atmosphere, great customer service, great menu selection and well prepared, delicious food and well presented. Entertainment was great as well with Uncle Phil and the leftovers, they certainly got the crowd going. Would go again in future based on our experience.

We met friends for dinner Friday evening of this long weekend, the weather was perfect Friday!! The atmosphere and the food was amazing. Our waitress Emily was the best , we didn’t have a reservation but they still fit us in ! Great food ! Great service! Amazing patio ! Next time we will make a reservation, but this was literally a drive by impromptu! Met the owner , what a fun guy !

We took are typical trip up towards Grand Bend / Bayfield area for lunch and stopped into the White Squirrel Restaurant. You would think it was typical golf course clubhouse food, but not the case. Each of us loved our lunch selections from Burgers and Fries to the Summer Salad with grilled chicken and raspberry dressing. It was in between lunch and dinner so not too busy. The service was good and server was welcoming and friendly. Several options on the menu so we will need to come back to try some other entrees.

We had our wedding at the White Squirrel in the fall with about 60 guests, and it was truly a wonderful day! The venue was charming and intimate. While weddings aren't their primary focus, the staff went above and beyond to make everything feel special. Hats off to the chef and their team—the food was outstanding and a highlight for many of our guests. A heartfelt thank you to Lauren for her help in planning the evening and for being so responsive throughout the process. It was a fun, memorable celebration, and we’re glad we chose the White Squirrel for our big day. Thank you! – C & G

Great place! We will definitely be returning! Food was good, prices are very reasonable and lots of seating and space (summer time of course). We enjoyed it.

Great time was had by all. The owner Mac Voisin stopped by our table and thanked us for coming to The White Squirrel. Our waitress was excellent and was very attentive to our needs. Everyone enjoyed their food. The musical entertainment was great as well. Awesome experience.

We all enjoyed our turkey, Christmas meal at The White Squirrel Restaurant / Golf Course on December 22, 2024! Everything was hot and delicious... carrots and other roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, local turkey from Hayter's Meats, cranberry dressing and cranberry sauce, and delicious gravy to top it off! Included was a serving of Sticky Toffee Pudding baked in its own individual dish. Hubby's beer was cold as was the ice water, and delicious hot coffee! Everything was perfect!!! Merry Christmas to all!
